About Chestnut International School
Chestnut International School, Abuja, proudly carries the torch of providing an exceptional educational experience since its founding in 2013. On September 23rd of that year, we opened our doors at No. 38 1(P)1 Crescent, Sector 'F', FHA Lugbe, with a humble beginning of just two pupils in Pre-Nursery and five dedicated teachers.
With unwavering commitment and a focus on holistic development, we've witnessed remarkable growth. By 2016, our student body had blossomed to over 100, encompassing Crèche to Primary 4, and our dedicated staff grew to include 11 teachers, 9 class assistants & minders, and a nurse. Today, we're thrilled to offer a complete primary section and a thriving junior secondary wing, catering to the diverse needs of our students.

Chestnut International School welcomes students from diverse backgrounds into our nurturing environment. We offer a comprehensive program encompassing:
- Crèche (6-12 months old)
- Discovery Class (12-24 months old)
- Pre-Nursery (2+ year olds)
- Nursery One (3+ year olds)
- Nursery Two (4+ year olds)
- Primary One (5 year olds)
For students above the age of five, admission is based on performance in a placement test, an oral interview, and other relevant considerations.
